The Argo Café is located in the neighbourhood north of Main and Broadway dedicated to industrial and design businesses. That makes the lunch time clientele an eclectic crowd. The café is easy to find as the exterior is painted with a colourful, cheeky mural. The interior has all the elements of a timeless diner including a long counter, swivel stools as well as two aisles of booths.

The Argo offers traditional diner fair such as hamburgers, sandwiches and fish and chips. The menu also successfully ventures into an array international dishes. Service is efficient and friendly. Take out is available.

Served until 11:00 am, breakfast makes it to your table in record time. The steak and eggs get rave reviews; as does the French toast topped with caramelized bananas and chocolate chips. Desserts at the Argo are baked on site and change daily depending on the chef’s inspiration. Selection on a typical day’s may include tiramisu, crème caramel, or hummingbird cake which combines banana cake with the sweetness of cream cheese icing.
