Anna’s, a family-run business, prides itself on using the freshest and finest ingredients. All of Anna’s baked goods are 100 percent natural, shunning added preservatives and artificial flavourings. Real fresh Canadian cream and real butter cream cakes are the cornerstones of their business. Local ingredients are used whenever possible, but deluxe accents – Philippine mangoes, Belgium chocolate and Chinese chestnuts – are shipped in from around the world. Anna’s cakes are made from scratch the morning of delivery. Now, that’s freshness you can taste!

Anna’s East Broadway bakery has been the set for several television commercials and movies. It’s no wonder – upon entering the shop with high ceilings, lots of glass and a modern look, you feel like you’re on set at A Wedding Story. Images are scanned and printed with food-colouring ink on edible paper. In 1999, Anna’s was the second bakery in Canada to introduce this innovative service.
There Will Always be Tiers on Wedding Day
Making more than 300 wedding cakes a year, Anna’s knows what it takes to create an elegant and decadent centrepiece for your reception. Anna’s “cake valet,” takes care of everything from consultation to delivery to set up. They even offer “emergency wedding service,” and can provide same-day cakes for orders placed before noon. Did someone forget to order the cake? Anna’s saves the wedding day for about half a dozen couples a year.
