Testy terrain
Situated at West Vancouver’s Ambleside Park, the Ambleside Par 3 is a challenging little course thanks to a plethora of trees and shrubs that surround narrow fairways. The spot is popular with local companies, which often host corporate tournaments for employees. The course has 18 holes.
Course with a view
Ambleside Par 3 is a harbourside course offering views of the Burrard Inlet, Lions Gate Bridge and Stanley Park. Holes range from 48 to 114 yards with fast, small often elevated greens. Sometimes you may find yourself sharing the green with a heron or goose as the local wildlife also frequents the course.
Small but professional
As a pitch and putt run by the municipality, Ambleside’s amenities are plentiful and professional. There’s a pro shop, practice green, coffee/snack shop and club rentals available. A dress code is in effect as are standard rules of golf etiquette. Reservations are not available as the club operates on a first come first served basis.
