Ice Cold
Amato Gelato Café, located in the heart of Vancouver, offers over 500 varieties of Italian ice cream, gelato cakes, novelties and special desserts from Mario’s Gelati. Out of the hundreds of flavours available, 72 varieties are always rotated so you can try new flavours every time you visit. These 72 flavours include traditional Italian ice cream, yogurt, sorbetto, tofulati (non-diary products), low-sugar gelato and low-sugar sorbetto.
Special Serving
Along with its wide range of ice cream choices, Amato Gelato Café also offers special portions. These unique, visually pleasing and tasty treats are the perfect desserts for special occasions. Some of these decadent treats are the Amaretto (amaretto ice cream sprinkled with amaretto cookies with a sweet liquid cherry centre), Lemon (a real lemon stuffed with refreshing, no-fat lemon sorbet) and the Cappuccino (espresso and vanilla ice cream marbled together and topped with rich Belgian chocolate shavings and served in a chocolate graham wafer shell). These are only some of the many specialty portions prepared by Mario’s Gelati and available at Amato Gelato Café.

If you’d like to warm up or fill up before you enjoy your dessert, Amato Gelato Café offers Italian coffees and foccacia sandwiches. Although the storefront is small, there is seating available both inside and outside. Located on a quiet East Vancouver street, all products are made on-site by Mario himself! Although you can purchase Mario’s products all over the city, nothing beats stopping into a real Italian gelato shop for a cone on a hot summer day.
