You can’t go wrong with good old traditional Italian cuisine. Given the hearty goodness of it all, it’s no wonder that wherever you go in the world, there’s a good chance you’ll come across an Italian restaurant. But not all parts of Italy produce exactly the same food, and so it’s worth delving deeper into the culinary landscape in order to discover which region in particular tickles your taste buds. Amarcord Ristorante Italiano specializes in food traditionally associated with Italy’s Emilia-Romagna region, of which the capital city is the famed culinary epicentre of Bologna.
Food for The Entire Family
At Amacord, whether you stop by for lunch or dinner you can indulge all your senses when you select your meal. For lunch they have fresh salads, hearty soups, lovely pasta, and sandwiches. For dinner try something robust like a marinated steak or a fresh piece of salmon. Like most good Italian restaurants it’s hard not to try some of the pasta - the gnocchi here is raved about! Though, of course, one can never go wrong with the spaghetti Bolognese.
A Sense of the Aegean
White table cloths, lots of flowers about the place, exposed brick walls…Amarcord’s interior design may not scream out modern chic, but then not many Italian restaurants do. Instead, Amarcord succeeds in combining respectability with a home-like atmosphere, which makes for a relaxed ambiance. However, it’s not so relaxed that you’ll have to get up and go look for the waiter when you’re ready to order. They also have a lovely selection of wines to make your meal complete.
Take Note: Amarcord means I remember in Italian and, Amarcord Ristorante will certainly give you a meal to remember.
