For dinner try something robust like a marinated steak or a fresh piece of salmon. Like most good Italian restaurants it’s hard not to try some of the pasta - the gnocchi here is raved about! Though, of course, one can never go wrong with the spaghetti Bolognese.

White table cloths, lots of flowers about the place, exposed brick walls…Amarcord’s interior design may not scream out modern chic, but then not many Italian restaurants do. Instead, Amarcord succeeds in combining respectability with a home-like atmosphere, which makes for a relaxed ambiance. However, it’s not so relaxed that you’ll have to get up and go look for the waiter when you’re ready to order. They also have a lovely selection of wines to make your meal complete.
