Come for Dinner and Stay for a Drink
The Alibi Room is a place guests come to enjoy dinner, but stay for a casual and fun night in the downstairs lounge. With its large expansive dining tables and room for more than 200 in the main floor dining room, the restaurant specializes in accommodating big groups. After dinner guests are always invited to retire to the downstairs lounge for a drink where a DJ spins cool and funky lounge music on Friday and Saturday nights.

Share a Taste
The eclectic comfort food menu offering a range of culinary styles is made for sharing. There are eight small Tapas style appetizer plates and six main plates featuring crowd pleasers like the Alibi’s free range chicken and risotto and wild salmon with a saffron rice cake. The menu also contains a number of casual plates including burger and wraps and brunch is served on weekends.

Unique Décor in Historic Digs
If the huge dining room tables that suit larger groups and shared by smaller parties weren’t enough to make the Alibi Room a truly unique restaurant experience, the building it is housed in certainly is. More than 100 years old, this building drips character. Huge bay windows adorn the walls on both sides making the room light and airy. One side of the building is just steps from the shoreline train tracks and the sights and sounds of the trains rolling by definitely add to the ambience. When there are no trains, the windows open up to a beautiful view of the mountains and the North Shore. Great food and a funky atmosphere make the Alibi Room a cool spot for any night out.
