Craving authentic Italian fare without having to leave the country? Head to Al Porto Ristorante for mouthwatering pastas and succulent seafood dishes that taste, dare we say, better than your nonna’s. Now you can experience the best of Italian cuisine without having to schedule a pricey evening out.
Got Beef?
Al Porto’s large menu features tried and true recipes passed down from previous generations. Each dish is prepared with the freshest ingredients around and you can taste it in every bite! On the appetizers menu, discover oysters on the half shell served with pepper minnionette, and calamari sautéed in spicy tomato sauce. Or how about the grilled calamari with lemon and a brown butter Mediterranean salsa? Garlic drenched bruschetta along with the beef carpaccio with brandy mustard and shaved grana padano completes a fantastic starters menu.
A Slice of Heaven
A handful of fresh fish dishes taste superb thanks to delicately prepared sauces such as tomato caper relish and pernod cream sauce. Not to be missed is the wild B.C salmon grilled with toasted orzo and drizzled with saffron cream sauce. Carnivorous diners have it swell thanks to a handful of meaty delicacies such as slow roasted duck breast, rosemary infused rack of lamb, and chicken breast roasted with red wine sauce. Hearty pastas made fresh to order come highly recommended here. Among the standouts is the homemade gnocchi with braised veal, artichokes, and sun dried tomatoes. Al Porto’s true specialty, however, are their wood-fire pizzas topped with gourmet ingredients and mouthwatering tomato sauce. Regulars top their gooey slice of heaven with a large selection of toppings including artichokes, smoked salmon, and lamb sausage.
