Located close to Vancouver’s Italian district, Commercial Drive, and only a casual walk away from shopping districts such as Gastown and Chinatown, the Aberdeen Mansion is a home away from home that provides limitless comfort. The interior is carved from rich polished wood while dangling chandeliers are accented with brass for a pinch of old-world luxury.
Room for Comfort
Whether it’s a quiet and remote getaway for one, or a romantic retreat for two, guests can choose from a variety of suites. Located in the tower, the Birmingham Room houses two suites and its own sitting area. On the main level is the Abby Room that is finished in muted forest greens and deep-coloured woods. For a cozy feel, the Belmont Suite includes a stunning oak fireplace – circa 1910 – to heat up those rainy Vancouver nights. With sleeker furnishings, the spacious Newcastle Suite is much more modern while the Canterbury Room is a well-lit, lively space which almost transports you to another era.
The Aberdeen Bed and Breakfast also includes all the contemporary comforts such as Internet access, private phones with free local calls, TV and cable, fully-equipped kitchens in all suites and on-site laundry facilities.
