Get Your Ride On
Abbotsford BMX is a non profit organization set up to encourage people of all ages to get on their bikes and discover the thrill of speed. This is offered in a safe, family-orientated environment, away from the dangers of the road. The outdoor track is open to anybody at anytime and includes plenty of dirt banks and jumps to make for a fun ride.

Perfect for BMX Hopefuls
The real excitement lies in the competitive BMX races. Organized by a group of dedicated BMX enthusiasts, the races are open to anyone between the ages of two and 60, and have proved a great success in the past. The club holds races most Wednesday nights and Sunday afternoons from April to October, and indoor races and practices from November through February depending on their schedule.

Ready, Set, Go!
In order to race you are required to wear long pants, long sleeves, full-fingered gloves and a full-face helmet to avoid any nasty accidents. Keeping with their family-orientated philosophy, a half-track tricycle run is set up for the very young, so nobody gets excluded. And if you find that it’s raining on a day when you’d like to use the outdoor track, fear not: they ride come rain or shine.

Valuable Lesson
If you’re interested in BMXing, but feel that you could do with some practice before you venture onto the track, then perhaps you should sign up for a lesson. Classes are available for boys and girls of all ages, and you’ll be organized into different groups depending on your age and ability. All you have to do to arrange a lesson is pick up the phone and give them a call.
